Run to Feed the Hungry - 30 seconds of fame.

About to make my move on the Kenyans.

Fading back, laughing hysterically.

I'm famous. Three out of the seventeen pictures on the slideshow of the 15th annual Run to Feed the Hungry, I was in. I also managed to get a color picture in the SacBee's Friday paper.

A couple friends of mine encouraged me at the start line to sprint out with the Kenyans that were racing in the 10k. I figured,"What the hell? I got nothin' to lose."s soon as that bullhorn sounded, I was off, racing over 28,000 people, at one point having a 10 yard lead on the mighty Kenyans. I got yelled at by the pace-car to not do anything stupid and received dirty looks from the Kenyan harriers.

I held that blistering pace for about a total of 600-800 yards. I had reached ultimate satisfaction, I had run with the Kenyans.

todays ride was...

...pretty good.

Rode with Steven Larsen of Rio Strada to Beale's Point and back from Jesuit. Did some hill repeats there and on the way back at the infamous Pennsylvania Avenue. It was a good 45 mile ride and it seems to have turned into a tradition. We did it last thursday and planned on doing it again next thursday, until we realized that when we would be riding, we would actually be stuffing food into our face. But hey, were teenagers, give us a break.

So I guess I'm gonna keep doin' this blog thing again. Let me know how I'm doing. Feedback is appreciated.

So, many of you may notice, I am only doing 1, count it, ONE triathlon this year as of now. Well technically I'm doing two on back to back days, but the second is just a relay that I will be biking in. I just realized it happens to fall on the same day as Cat's Hill Crit...
